About Us

Who We Are

Portal House of Prayer is a 501c3 religious non-profit organization. We seek to adore and connect with God and allow Him to move in and through us for revival in the San Gabriel Valley and throughout the earth. We join the existing worship and prayer movements to build sustainable worship and prayer furnaces for us to encounter God and be transformed by Him for His works. Portal House of Prayer is an expression and fulfillment of the restoration of David’s Tabernacle, a dwelling place for God. Amos 9:11 & Act 15:16

Our Vision

To awaken hearts to our first love for God and release the Father’s heart to our cities

Our desire is to kindle passion and to remain in our first love for our King Jesus. The heart of Portal House of Prayer is to stay hungry in pursuit of God’s presence.

Portal House of Prayer is dedicated to call the church back to love the Lord our God with all our heart soul, and mind by building sustainable worship and prayer furnaces that allow us to encounter God and enable us to obtain and release the Father’s heart

Psalm 27:4 One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord,  and to inquire in his temple.

Matt 22:37 He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

To unify with local churches and organizations to release the fullness of God’s power and purpose for our cities

Our desire is to network and build relationships with local churches and organizations to bring about God’s kingdom in San Gabriel Valley. As one body with a common pursuit, we contend for the destiny of our cities. We welcome the Holy Spirit to rest on us and empower us to be a community of worshippers and intercessors who cry out day and night to God for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose in the San Gabriel Valley and throughout the earth.

Waiting on God day and night in prayer and worship is deeply connected to the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose

Luke 18:7 &9 – And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?

What We Believe

WE BELIEVE there is one God. He is Righteous, Holy, Just,Loving and True. He is self – existent one being in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

WE BELIEVE that Jesus is God’s only son, born of the Virgin Mary. He is God’s anointed One. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sin, died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven and is alive today, in the presence of God the Father and His people and is coming back to earth in power and glory. He is “True God” and “True man.”

WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling believers in Christ are enabled to live holy lives and minister supernaturally. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that was released in Acts 2 and is empowering believers today.

WE BELIEVE humankind is created in the image of God to know, worship, and have a love relationship with Him. Humankind willfully rejects God and sins against Him and as a result all expressions of death (such as sickness, anger, depression, unforgiveness…) entered the world and now all creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

Role of worship and prayer during end times

Prayers of the believers play a significant role in the end times. Rev. 5 describes a global prayer and worship movement that will rise up during the end times. Houses of prayer are expressions and fulfillments of the end time’s movement. The heart of Portal House of Prayer is the worship and prayer furnace where people encounter God in a more intimate way. In the worship and prayer furnace, we are offering Jesus unceasing worship as we gaze on the beauty of Jesus while we intercede for justice and receive strategy on how to take back the earth (presently under the power of Satan, 1 John 5:19).  We are also contending for the power of the Holy Spirit to manifest and bring transformation in every sphere of society.

Restoration of King David’s Tabernacle:

King David, a man after God’s heart (1 Sam 13:14), sought to build a dwelling place for God (Ps 132) after He became King of all Israel. As he inquired of the Lord, the Lord instructed him on what He desires through the prophets Gad & Nathan (2 Chron. 29:25) and through God’s own writing (1 Chron. 28:19). After placing the Ark on Mount Zion, David set singers and musicians before the Ark (1 Chron. 16:4-6) and organized the Levites and priests for musical ministry at the Tabernacle of David (1 Chron. 15-16). King David hired 4000 musicians (1 Chron. 23:5) and 288 singers (1 Chron. 25:7) to worship God full-time day and night in the Tabernacle of David.

As the end time draws near, God has promised to re-establish David’s Tabernacle.  Amos 9:11, Act 15:16 & 17. We believe The House of Prayer is an expression and fulfillment of the restoration of David’s Tabernacle.
